Tierra D. Williams is a mother, activist, political leader, actress, public speaker, host, poet, and content creator and entrepreneur. She is originally from Mississippi where she graduated from Jackson State University with a B.A. in Speech Communication- Theatre Concentration. She is the Chair of the 3.20 Coalition, a grassroots organization, a Certified Trainer with Centre County Community Conferencing, a Member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and is Vice President and Charter Member of the Nittany Zeta Chapter. She also is a long- time member of the NAACP and is currently running for Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors, the first Afro-American and youngest woman to make it through primaries.

The idea of “Black Tea” has always been in the back of Tierra’s mind, but it was the summer of 2020 that truly sparked the beginning. After attending and speaking at numerous protest, she frequently was asked questions afterwards concerning racism, anti-blackness, and diversity and inclusion. It was then she decided to create a show not only to answer these questions, but give a platform to the Black voices in this community.
